Bevin Niemann Such a great question, and I’ve heard a variety of answers. The primary analogy of how reincarnation takes places without a soul is that of the flame of one candle being used to light another candle. The learning you do in this life (in conjunction with your previous karma) helps to causally determine the quality of your next life, yet nothing substantive like a soul migrates. Your expeirence in this life provides the push towards your next incarnation, with the hope being that eventually you arrive in a suitable circumstance to awaken to your true nature.
